DIY Homemade Organic Pretzels!~

Here's a delicious recipe for Homemade Pretzels!! No more need for buying pretzels at the mall anymore! These are JUST as tasty!

I used mainly all organic ingredients. You don't have to!

 Ingredients:
Dough:
12.5oz Flour (About 2.5 cups)
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1tsp Sugar
2.25 tsp instant quick rise yeast
1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)

Topping:
1/2 cup warm water
1tbsp baking soda
Olive oil- For greasing the counter and sheet pan
Sea salt-for the sprinkles
3 tbsp unsalted butter-melted

Directions:

1. Combine all the dough ingredients in the bowl and mix till the dough feels soft and smooth (Not sticky to the touch)
Mix it!

Knead it!
Perfect!
2. Place dough in a container/bowl and cover with a warm cloth and let the dough rise for 30 min.

3. Preheat over to 450 degrees and lightly grease a baking sheet with Olive Oil.

4. remove the dough from the bowl and place into a lightly oiled counter-top  Divide the dough into 8 pieces (you can use a knife)

Get that counter all oiled up!

5. Combine warm water and baking soda in another bowl

6. Roll each of the eight pieces into a long rope (Like what we did with play-doe in kindergarten ) and shape into a pretzel.

roll it till it can't roll anymore!

Twist, twist!

Make some minor adjustments....

TADA!!
7. Dip each pretzel into the baking soda concoction and place on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle the sea salt.

I patted mine with baking soda~
Can't really see the sea salt, but it's there!!
8. Bake for 9-10 min. or until pretzels are golden brown. Then brush the pretzels with melted butter while they are still hot out of the oven!
It's hot Mama!!
This pretzel I used sugar and cinnamon instead of salt, and it was Good!!~

Pourin' some yummy butter!~

9. Eat them all!!! Or share. :)

This makes about 8 pretzels!

Hope you enjoy this yummy recipe!!
